Letter From the President
Welcome from your PTSO President
Bienvenidos! ようこそ！ Bienvenue! Willkommen! 欢迎
Welcome to both new and returning Waddell families! We hope the 2019/2020 school year will be a success for all our students and staff. For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, the Waddell PTSO is a volunteer non-profit organization made up of parents, administrators, and support staff with a mission the promote quality education for all our students. We are here to help students and staff by providing support for educational and enrichment needs, promote open communication between administration, teachers, and parents/guardians, and to encourage Waddell school spirit and pride. We encourage all parents, guardians, grandparents and other family members to join the PTSO and get involved in the wide-variety of cultural and recreational activities that make Waddell such a special community. You can volunteer to help with one of our numerous cultural activities: Language Culture Nights, World Market, Mardi Gras, International Week, our Middle School Drama Production, the Arts Extravaganza, and a wonderful variety of musical performances put on by our Band, Orchestra, and Chorus ensembles, or serve as a Room Parent, Copy Room Helper, or Field Day volunteer. Whatever your interest and time allows, we encourage you to become an active part of our school. To support our wide-variety of activities our fundraisers from years past will continue with the Fun Run in October, World Market in December, and the Invest in Your Child (IYC) capital campaign throughout the year. More information on these, as well as a list of all our upcoming activities and PTSO membership link, can be found throughout this webpage. Whether you donate your time, your services, your skills, or your spirit… YOU will be the reason we are successful for our children. Thank you for being a part of the Waddell family and we look forward to seeing you throughout the year.
